Our Facility

Summit neurological rehabilitation is located at 195 Federal Road in Brookfield, CT. Our 5000 square foot facility allows us to comfortably treat multiple patients in an open, social and friendly environment. Summit utilizes evidence based rehabilitation techniques and cutting edge technology to restore optimal function in their patients. With a fully equipped gym, patients are able to perform both therapy and recreational exercise to maintain what has been accomplished through rehabilitation and prevent other chronic diseases.

Our Staff

Our staff is made up of state licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologist’s, independent living skills trainers that specialize in treating Patients with a broad array of neurological injuries or developmental neurological impairments.

Adam Granger, MSPT, Owner– Adam is a licensed Physical Therapist with a degree in communicative disorders and sciences. With a strong background in speech, audiology as well as physical therapy he is able to treat patients with a broad array of neurological injuries or who have developmental neurological impairments. Adam also is a NDT trained therapist who specializes in Adult hemiparesis and other neurological impairments of both the central and peripheral nervous systems. Adam has over 13 year’s experience in working with patients with neurological conditions. His experience spans out-patient, in-patient rehab, skilled nursing facility, school system and clinical instructor for neurological out-patient specialty practice.

Gordon Childs, Orthotist – CPO, OTR /L – Gordon, through New England Orthotic and Prosthetic Systems, LLC (NEOPS), provides orthotic and prosthetic patient care products and services

Allison Piersall, Wellness Trainer – Tier 2 – With a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, Allison provides wellness care services (meaning activities related to conditioning, strength training, fitness and injury prevention) to people whom have been discharged from skilled care (Physical or Occupational Therapy) and deemed appropriate for wellness care services.

Peter Arnold, Wellness Trainer – Tier 2 – Peter provides wellness care services (meaning activities related to conditioning, strength training, fitness and injury prevention) to people whom have been discharged from skilled care (Physical or Occupational Therapy) and deemed appropriate for wellness care services.

Craig Foley, Rehabilitation Technician – Craig has worked with patients with neurological conditions for over 20 years. He is CPR and ILST certified. Craig provides tier based rehab services and assists our therapist’s in treating patients. Craig also leads our recreational therapy program.

 

Jessica Granger, MBA, GM – Jessica has worked in business management for over 15 years in many different industries from private & military healthcare to nuclear energy. Jessica oversees operations, business development, quality and compliance.

 

 

Ceciley Robinson, Front Desk Administrator – Ceciley assists our patients in scheduling and maintaining medical records. She also assists our therapists and helps to coordinate ABI Waiver services.

    The human brain has evolved for thousands of years and just within the past few years through research we are finally breaking through and learning about the intricacies of brain function. Research has proven that the brain has and can network around injuries and or tumors to maximize function. With that knowledge, we as therapists are able to optimize recovery and restore function.
